One of the goals of the Waynesboro Police Foundation is to increase public awareness of the role of the police officer in a modern society.  In order to fulfill this mission in a tangible way, the Foundation created an annual scholarship program for eligible high school seniors who will be seeking undergraduate education with a concentration in criminal justice or a similar field at an accredited post-secondary educational institution.  The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior who meets the minimum scholarship requirements and submits the best, most compelling essay on a subject's given topic related to criminal justice.

New for 2018, the Waynesboro Police Foundation has officially dedicated our scholarship program

in memory of Auxiliary Captain, Kevin W. Quick who was tragically murdered in 2014.
